Really wondering why nobody anywhere on the web posted anything about this epilator? There are two others just like it. The Emjoi Emagin in a red color (non-rechargeable), and the Emjoi Emagin for men in a black color. I'm sure others like me have bought this one. Are they all afraid to be open and honest to have anything to say about it except me? Well, looks like I'm the first. I hope this review will be helpful. Here goes...
They say it has 72 tweezer disks as opposed to the regular 36 or so as all the other epilators have. I looked at this epilator and tried counting the disks. I can't imagine how there could be 72, since I'd have to rotate the heads but don't want to since that may damage the device? There are quite a few of them though so it's possible. Guess I should trust the manufacturer and take their word for it. I have another epilator-a Panasonic wet/dry which has a smaller head and not as many disks so that's why I say it is possible that this... Read more

I opted for this particular model since it was possible to also operate it cordless, because some of the reviewers of the other 72-tweezer discs rechargeable AP-18 Emjoi emagine (for women) had mentioned they found their corded model sometimes cumbersome with the cord getting in the way.
The box contains an epilator, instruction booklet, power adapter, cleaning brush and travel pouch.
Pros:
easy to clean
has dual speed control
can be used cord or cordless
removes hair from the root leaving the area smooth
Cons:
very noisy when in use
rather expensive
often have to go over the area more than once to remove all the hairs
the optional shaving head not included
currently the replacement epilating head only available on the manufacturer's website
